Why Some Writers with Thousands of Reads Do Not Share Their Knowledge

.

Why those who find ways to game the system and get huge numbers of reads on their articles will not share their secrets is a puzzle to many of us. Are they just greedy and unwilling to share?  The answer is no, their refusal to share their methods has a much more practical reason.

I started doing a bit of research and asking lots of questions about this subject a few weeks ago and this is what I have discovered.

Search engines like Google, Yahoo, Bing and all the others out there are constantly watching out for flaws in their systems which allow the computer savvy entrepreneur to make large amounts of money by gaming the system.

Every time these search engines identify doors, or windows that have been left open, they close them. The ‘black hatters’ as they are know make a living out of finding ways through.

Things like link baiting are becoming less lucrative now because search engines and internet users are getting used to them. The recent round of Johnny Depp and Angelina Jolie rumours were started in this way and the whole fraudulent game has now been exposed by the media.

Each time the ‘black hatters’ have a door slammed in their faces; they strive to find another way in. This is what gaming the system is all about.

These people will not share what they have discovered because making it public means that the search engines will be right on the case as soon as it starts to spread around the web and they will close the new doorway. The websites that suddenly realise that they have been played this way, will throwing the user off and close their account.

So, they cannot share their techniques because once they are made public they will not work any more. What works today for one person may not work next week, such is the battle between search engine and gamer.
